Firmicute

Firmicutes are a group of bacteria (known as a division in the current classification) containing the Actinobacteria (formerly called the Actinomycetes), the Cyanobacteria (photosynthesising bacteria), the Bacillus/Clostridium group (including bacilli in particular) and finally the Thermus/Deinococcus group.
