Cryptochrome

A crypotchrome is a blue light receptor in plants and animals. Various aspects of this protein have been studied: mechanism for transferring electrons, the extent of its autophosphorylation using point mutants, comparison of animal and plant cryptochromes (structures, heterologous expression).
